Lean Green Smoothie. Spinach, Kale, Pineapple, Oranges, topped with Chia seeds . Yum! Here is my story.Β  Smoothies always make me feel alive. I can talk about them for hours.Β 

In June 2020, I was hospitalized when I used to have low blood cells. I nearly died and God showed out for me leading me to the right connections and better healthy choices internally. Ever since then, I have been hooked on leafy greens and plants; they have changed my life and so many things lol

My passion with good health was always about working out but when you learn more about how foods can heal, you become obsessed and healthier. I left my banking job and just didn’t feel like it was me; realizing I was just there for the wrong reason. I’m now with a science lab where I am able to help people fight colon cancer and have good health.Β 

When I would have stressful days working for a bank and feeling like a machine I was able to lower blood pressure because of yoga- in which I later received my yoga teacher certification because of that lol Sometimes negative things can become positive things that can lead to a blessing in disguise. Godly Green Smoothie


Since I am now a certified yoga instructor and work for a science lab to help people with colon cancer testing, the deeper studies of healthy food intrigues me. It’s amazing how God is so smart, that He put the medicine in the plants for us.

This smoothie was decided when the only fruits and veggies I had left in the house were spinach, Kale and pineapples. I usually will add strawberries in my smoothie but to my surprise the items I had tasted EVEN better. I was also interested in the benefits of the nutrients of each. *** Ingredients: 1 cup of spinach Kale mix and 1 cup of pineapple.l and 1/2 cup of almond milk.

***Spinach is good for digestion, healthy skin, immunune system, blood circulation and iron. It’s good for the heart..
***Kale- Kale helps lower cholesterol and fights off cancer.. Did you know it boosts your fertility and immune as well?
***Pineapple helps with joints, prevents cancer, arthritis and is also good with any irritable bowl syndrome.

A Simple ‘Pick Me Up’ Vitamin C Drink

Since I have given up coffee over 4 months ago, I have gotten very creative with making healthy drinks. So I have this addiction for adding fruits to my orange juice in the morning. I wanted to share this wake up drink that’s bursting with vitamin c. I like to wake up to
fruit blended drinks because it gives me just the right nutrients to jump start my day. WATCH MY VIDEO BELOW!!

Strawberries are good in vitamin c and so is orange juice. Having fruits early in the morning or before bed also helps with digestion, MOOD ENHANCING and helps you to use the bathroom (via #2 lol If you ain’t poopin then you ain’t groovin lol) I have also found out that making this fruity drink is great for relieving stress and makes you feel relaxed. (Insert yoga meditation pose here. _______ ) I like to sit by the window as the sun is shining on me and pretend that
I am somewhere on a tropical island. It also wouldn’t hurt to add some tropical music to listen to in the background as you devour your tropical drink lol (ahem…passes you a virtual coconut cup with the umbrella straw. lol)

So all you need to do is chop as many strawberries as you like and add some non concentrated orange juice. THAT’S IT! You can cut the strawberries into small circles and toss them in the glass, afterwards pour the orange juice over the strawberries. All the vitamin C in there is enough to keep you glowing and going strong for the day. What’s fun is that after drinking the orange juice, there is the left over strawberries to munch on for a healthy snack.
This drink is sure to give you the burst of energy you need to start your day
or anytime you need a pick me up.

Confessions Of A Coffee Addict.. β˜•(replacing coffee ..ugghh..the pain)

Ditching my coffee for organic smoothies starting Tuesday. Let’s see if I can do this for 30 days or forever!! *screams like a guitarist from a metal hair band 😱.. Although I will miss the roasting smell of coffee brewing in the morningsβ˜• followed by milky cream of hazelnut added. πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ I crave just from the thought of it, but it’s a habit I am trying to cut out. πŸ˜‚
Β Β Β Β Β Β  (Sigh 😌) The urge for coffee started when an aunt of mine was visiting. See, every morning I’d wake up to the smell of her brewing Maxwell House or Folgers. 🀨 The scent tempted me.Β  Curious and confused on why so many Americans take a leap to this stimulant, I tried it. (only to become an addict.) Since I am already a health nut and I workout 5 days a week, my good angelπŸ˜‡ on my right shoulder said, “Why not just replace coffee with healthy smoothies in the morning?” However, my devil angel 😈on my left shoulder laughed and said, “Girl, you know you need your coffee! You’re an author! Coffee helps with your imagination.”
I rolled my eyes. I sighed. Annoyed.
I feel like it is a healthy mental goal to complete and I’m ready to give it a try.
(A try to start my mornings dry, right?πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈπŸ˜‚)
Not really! Mind you I will be pouring a refreshing smoothie into my Starbucks mug and savoring the moment. *sticks nose in the air.* Now EXCUSEE me as I add a variety of fruits and veggies for smoothie blends into the cart of my online shopping app. 😊

Others Are Inspired By Your Health Journey πŸ₯‘πŸπŸπŸ‡

A lot of women have told me I helped them transition to eating healthier and some have even started the plant based life too. Even at work, I had no idea that women paid so much attention to what I eat. (I usually eat very light, but you never know who is watching πŸ˜‚) This girl asked what I do when I work out. One girl told me she wants to get full from eating as fast as I do. Wow! The other asked what kind of smoothie I was drinking. The other girl asked what I had on my salad, “Eating your greens? What’s that?” She aske, looking at my salad and making friendly small talk. I told her I was plant based and she told me good luck because it’s hard. I wanted to tell her that it isn’t hard after getting used to it, but I was ready to eat. Well, guess what? The next morning she was eating her bowl of fruit and so was the other woman lol That’s actually very good to see! Keep going and never give up. It may be tough to be healthy at first but once you start feeling and looking good, you’ll get used to it. Do it for you! I am so glad I was able to at least help some people feel motivated about health. Health is so important. There are so many people running into serious health problems all because of their food choices. You never know who you’re inspiring 😊
