Since spring is here, it is the best time to cool off with some delicious smoothies. I will be sharing a few of my favorite smoothies to help you cool off and boost your energy and overall mood. The one thing I enjoy about smoothies is that you can enjoy them anytime of the day or night. Smoothies also help with better sleep. (I can agree with that!) I usually just shop for different fruits and veggies and put them together for a smoothie, it gives you a chance to be creative, right? You can also find the premade smoothie bags in your grocer’s freezer. (I try to shy away from the smoothie juice because those tend to probably have added sugars, look for NON ADDED SUGAR!)
The Crafted Smoothie Blends by Dole comes with apples, bananas, kale and cucumbers. This seems to save you from loading up on a bunch of items in just one bag. The Dole Fruit and Veggie Blend is also a good mix. It comes with mangos, bananas, apples, pineapples and spinach. I think this blend is great because you get both FRUITS and VEGGIES. (Double the vitamins and minerals!) Now if you are old school and don’t prefer to get DA BAG, I will share a quick smoothie recipie below.
Banana and Peanut Butter Smoothie

- 2 bananas, broken into chunks
- 2 cups milk (it can be regular milk, BUT I prefer almond milk)
- ½ cup peanut butter
- 2 tablespoons honey, or to taste
- 2 cups ice cubes
Step 1: Gather all the ingredients
Step 2 Place the bananas, milk, peanut butter, honey, and ice cubes in your blender machine.
Step 3: For 30 seconds, you will need to blend it until smooth.
