Since I have given up coffee over 4 months ago, I have gotten very creative with making healthy drinks. So I have this addiction for adding fruits to my orange juice in the morning. I wanted to share this wake up drink that’s bursting with vitamin c. I like to wake up to
fruit blended drinks because it gives me just the right nutrients to jump start my day. WATCH MY VIDEO BELOW!!
Strawberries are good in vitamin c and so is orange juice. Having fruits early in the morning or before bed also helps with digestion, MOOD ENHANCING and helps you to use the bathroom (via #2 lol If you ain’t poopin then you ain’t groovin lol) I have also found out that making this fruity drink is great for relieving stress and makes you feel relaxed. (Insert yoga meditation pose here. _______ ) I like to sit by the window as the sun is shining on me and pretend that
I am somewhere on a tropical island. It also wouldn’t hurt to add some tropical music to listen to in the background as you devour your tropical drink lol (ahem…passes you a virtual coconut cup with the umbrella straw. lol)
So all you need to do is chop as many strawberries as you like and add some non concentrated orange juice. THAT’S IT! You can cut the strawberries into small circles and toss them in the glass, afterwards pour the orange juice over the strawberries. All the vitamin C in there is enough to keep you glowing and going strong for the day. What’s fun is that after drinking the orange juice, there is the left over strawberries to munch on for a healthy snack.
