Recharge. Reset. ReNew

“Rest when you’re weary. Refresh and renew yourself, your body, your mind, your spirit. Then get back to work.” –Ralph Marston

As I sit here at the kitchen table sipping the tea from my mug, my dog is staring in my face with those Chihuahua eyes. He knows that I have to be up early in the morning for a very important meeting. I can sense him telling me that I need to stop and rest for now. If I rest for now, perhaps when I come back I will have more ideas for my blog, right? I immediately tell him to hold on as I type in a few words for those of you on the other side of this screen. (I’m stubborn, huh? 😉 )

Sometimes you have to know when to stop, recharge and reset…to come back BETTER. When we reset and recharge, we are able to have clearer thoughts and awareness to the world around us. Clearer thoughts will produce better decisions that we make in our everyday lives. People who don’t set time for themselves are usually prone to become stressed, overwhelmed and will end up doing things they never wanted to do.

You need to pause and recollect your thoughts. You must learn to become more organized by de-cluttering the gunk in your mental space and physical space.

Find some time to have some me-time. (Even if it’s just on your lunch break, in the bath tub or taking a few minutes to inhale fresh air you will be thankful for those little recharging moments. Be thankful.

I guarantee that you will see and feel a difference in your mood.
